I liked how Dr. Spinney gave good discussion questions that we can actually answer. Some profs expect everyone to be on their level of understanding when in reality half the class won’t know what’s happening. Also, I liked how you can ask any question without judgement even if it is something you should probably know.
I feel that this course has given me a chance to hone my critical thinking skills in regards to history. I engage with materials in more depth, and feel challenged by this course.
The round-table, very engaged style really helped me with volunteering my thoughts and opinions.
